Purpose

Computer-aided valuation is the future of the appraisal industry. CompCruncher is the first application to bring the power of property analysis down to the appraiser’s desktop. With CompCruncher, appraisers can produce supportable, reliable valuations in record time. The accuracy comes from putting the appraiser in the driver’s seat and allowing the analytics to be driven by the appraiser.

The CompCruncher FastTrack Training was created to ensure every appraiser who works with CompCruncher, uses it effectively an correctly. At the completion of this course, the appraiser will have the skill and confidence to utilize CompCruncher and the analytics process to produce better, more reliable property valuations through the Collateral Valuation Report (CVR™).

The Program

With FastTrack Training, you will attend two day trainings. Day 1 will be from 9:00am to 2:00pm Pacific Time and Day 2 will be from 9:00am to 6:00pm Pacific Time. In Day 1 training, you will complete four sample CVRs and on Day 2 (which will take place exactly one week later), you will complete four local market CVRs.

9:00AM - 9:10AM	Welcome and Introductions
9:10AM - 10:00AM	Lesson: Introduction to CC: Sample Appraisal #1 – observe only, including import
10:00AM - 11:45AM	Lesson: Sample Appraisal #2: Group Exercise – including data import
11:45AM - 12:45PM	Students complete: Sample Appraisals #3 and email to trainers
12:45PM – 1:00PM	Lesson/Wrap Up: Homework Assignment, Questions
Training - Day 2 Schedule (Time Zone: Pacific Time)
9:00AM - 9:15AM	Welcome and Introductions
9:15AM - 9:45AM	Lesson: Review of  CompCruncher
9:45AM - 10:00AM	Lesson: Your Maps and Your Exports – where to put them/find them.
10:00AM - 11:00AM	Lesson: Importing Data using Local #1 – Group Exercise
11:00AM - 11:45AM	Lesson: Regression Analysis, Setting, Rankings
11:45AM - 1:00PM	On your own:  Complete your Local #1 CVR and email to trainers.
1:00PM - 1:30PM	Lunch Break: check in at 1:30pm.
1:30PM - 2:00PM	Lesson: MLS Photo Assistant, Exterior and Interior Screens, Scope of Work
2:00PM - 3:00PM	On Your Own: Complete Local #2 and email to trainers. Check in at 3pm
3:00PM - 4:30PM	On Your Own: Complete Local #3 and Local #4.  Email to trainers.
4:30PM - 5:00PM	Lesson/Wrap Up: Looking at the Directory, Learning about Training Support on the AW website, Utilizing Training Videos, Last Steps to Certification.

• Required: Window XP or PRO (SP3), all versions of Vista, Windows 7
• Required: Internet connection with DSL, Cable, or faster
• Minimum: Pentium® class 1.2GHz CPU and 2GB of RAM
• Software: Microsoft® Excel 2003 or newer
