Rey Marquez' Story

Rey Marquez is an appraiser on a mission to take back the industry from BPOs. Using the trusty CVR as his tool and accompanied with his clever marketing skills and continual search for new clients, Rey has become a new soldier in Bradford Technologies’ War on BPOs!

Down in sunny Laguna Beach, California, Rey Marquez runs a one-man appraisal company for both residential and commercial sites.  Rey first heard about the CVR when he received an email from Jeff Bradford, CEO of Bradford Technologies. He had been losing business to BPOs for quite some time and finally decided enough was enough. Rey signed up for the training and soon became a CVR Specialist, ready to compete against BPOs!

Rey has been providing CVR for two months now and has already completed over 50 orders. He says that he makes about twice as much per hour providing CVRs than he does with a standard appraisal. In addition, he says it usually only takes him about 45 minutes to complete a report, a feat he attributes to his background in software programming.

What Rey likes about the CVR is that, “It helps to compete with BPOs” because it will take back the valuation business from brokers. He believes the CVR is a very good tool because it gives him exactly what he needs to complete his reports. Rey’s customers are also pleased with the CVR.  He has received positive feedback about the quick turnaround and statistically supported appraisal.

In his spare time, Rey enjoys spending time with his four children.

Here are some tips from Rey:

  • Don’t wait for the work to come to you, buying the product does not guarantee work, you have to market it
  • Show the product to potential clients
  • The CVR has many uses, play around with it to discover new ways to use it
