Lance Wisner has been running his own company and doing appraisals in the greater Denver area since 2000. His first introduction to the CVR was after his friend took the training and recommended it to him. Mike Brunson became an early advocate for the CVR after he discovered it at the Appraisal Summit in Las Vegas. Mike had previously thought of using regression analysis in his practice but quickly changed course when he learned the benefits of the CVR. Now Mike is creating statistically supported appraisals and bringing in more business.

Danell Estrada is the owner of Highlands Ranch Appraisals, LLC. She works primarily in Douglas County, close to Denver, Colorado. She became interested in the CVR when she found out about the level of detail the CVR report offers. She completed the training just over a year ago.Greg Austin's Story
Continuing with our weekly Success Stories, our featured CVR Specialist is Greg Austin. As an appraiser based in Illinois he became certified early on and has continually maintained a spot as a top producer since he began! Read why he favors the CVR over other appraisals.

Greg Austin is a residential appraiser that runs a one-man operation out of Illinois. His clients consist mostly of attorneys and state agencies. When Greg first heard about the CVR, he immediately saw that it had more to offer than his regular appraisals because of its accuracy and transparency. For him, it was an opportunity to expand his business beyond form fillers. It wasn’t long after that Greg became the first to be certified in St. Louis, Missouri.
Rick Garrie's Story
Today, we introduce you to Rick Garrie, our first CVR Success Story.

Rick Garrie is the Orlando branch manager for Forsythe Appraisals, the largest independent residential appraisal firm in the nation. He is also the very first person to go through the training and become a CVR Specialist. As branch manager, Rick and his six employees handle both local and national clients. When CompCruncher was first introduced, Forsythe’s management suggested that Rick and his branch try out the Collateral Valuation Report, and Rick’s practice has never been the same.
Richard Price's Story
Richard Price is an appraiser that appreciates statistically supported appraisals. This aspect of the CVR hooked him when he first received an advertisement email from AppraisalWorld. Read about his story and why he is our featured CVR Specialist of the week.

Richard Price is a residential appraiser and broker who runs a one-man operation out of Austin, Texas. He first heard about the CVR last January when he received an email advertisement. What interested him most was the use of statistics for valuations. He states, “I’ve always been interested in statistics”, which is evident with his choice to minor in statistics in college.

Rey Marquez is an appraiser on a mission to take back the industry from BPOs. Using the trusty CVR as his tool and accompanied with his clever marketing skills and continual search for new clients, Rey has become a new soldier in Bradford Technologies’ War on BPOs!

Down in sunny Laguna Beach, California, Rey Marquez runs a one-man appraisal company for both residential and commercial sites. Rey first heard about the CVR when he received an email from Jeff Bradford, CEO of Bradford Technologies. He had been losing business to BPOs for quite some time and finally decided enough was enough. Rey signed up for the training and soon became a CVR Specialist, ready to compete against BPOs!
Rich Jones' Story
This week’s interview is with CVR Specialist is Rich Jones. He used the CVR product to turn his business around and has been an advocate for it ever since. Read about Rich’s experience and what he likes best about it. Also, he shares some great tips for already trained Specialists!

For the past 20 years, Rich Jones has been running his own appraisal company in the mile high city of Denver, Colorado. Rich became interested in the CVR when a friend recommended it to him last October. After learning about it, he saw it as a tool to take back work from BPOs. BPOs had started taking away his business and he hoped that the CVR would help him get it back. The CVR did just that!
